How much does it cost to start?
It's completely free to start! You can create your first game world without any cost. Premium features and additional resources are available through our pricing plans.
What games are supported?
We currently support Minecraft as part of the Beta. Adding more games on our platform is very easy, but we would like to take our time and test games before we make them available to everyone.
What is 'multicloud.io'?
Multicloud.io is the technology behind our platform. It's a multi-cloud platform that autonomously provisions and optimizes servers in the cloud, allowing us to provide a platform that is faster, more reliable, and more cost-effective than traditional hosting providers.
How many players can join my world?
As many as you want, but you need to allocate resources appropriately.
Is my world data safe?
Yes! We provide automatic backups and world protection. Your data is stored securely and backed up regularly to prevent any loss.
Minecraft game settings
Aside from the settings you can configure, the following settings are set:
- • Player idle timeout setting: 10 min
- • Auto-stop timeout: 10 min
This means that if you are idle for 10 minutes, you will be logged out. If no player is active for 10 minutes, the server will hibernate (don't worry, it would save a backup first).
You could respawn your server at any time, it only takes about 2 minutes to start (no queueing!)

Data Safety & Backups
While we've implemented robust data safety measures including regular backups, please note that during our beta testing period, we cannot guarantee backup availability.
We will make our best effort to:
- Back up your data to Amazon S3
- Retain your last backup indefinitely as long as your world remains active
- Retain your last backup for up to 7 days if your world becomes idle
Auto-Hibernation & Recovery
We've set an idle timeout of 10 minutes to optimize resource usage. Before your game hibernates, we'll automatically take a backup. You can respawn your game anytime within 7 days of hibernation.
Service Availability
Respawn is built on our groundbreaking Multicloud technology, designed to provide exceptional value and performance. During beta, there may be occasional service interruptions as we refine the platform. Our goal is to maintain 99.9% availability throughout the beta period.
